Jeff Peters, has over 25 years of medical device experience and currently serves as the President and CEO of Cardialen, as well as Venture Partner for OrbiMed Advisors LLC.  From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Peters had several financial and operating consulting roles in public and private companies.  Previously, Mr. Peters was the chief executive officer of Anulex Technologies (2011‑2014), a company developing minimally invasive spine therapies; he also served as the chief technology officer of ev3 (now Medtronic) from 2001‑2007.  Mr. Peters’s financial roles include portfolio manager at Black River Asset Management, entrepreneur‑in‑residence at Foundation Medical, and stock analyst at Dain Rauscher Wessels. Mr. Peters received his B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Brent Shelton, VP Development, brings over 27 years of medical device experience from Medtronic, including implantable AF device development and marketing, new therapy research and development, upstream and downstream marketing, and business development. In addition to his business development experience at Medtronic, Brent is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Twin Cities Angels, an entrepreneurial-minded fund, and has operating experience in two other start-ups in finance and technology leadership. Brent brings a wide breadth of experience, ranging from highly technical skills to business planning.
